guys, I think my girls and I (the 1s who take care of me) are in a bit of a pickle. I hope and pray that all of you guys support me In this...Home Care Assoc. of Amer, is trying to get hour cutbacks 4 workers :( they r trying to make a single careg work 8 hour a days; allowed only 2 works a 40 hr week. (have to do w labor laws) ; personally, I think they deserve, but got cant pay. im sure u know at a real job that would be great. Anything OVER 8 hrs gets that. in a small way (my girls get some, when the sleep, they get paid. but this job isnt normal, bc of my pain, I need them overnight (many people do). if this passes; it will be so hard on every1. 2 of my girls live quite far away & they make their shift, so that it works for them. they make barely over min. wage + I already have 5 people in and out of this apt, I dont want more...& the bond we have is so rewarding to all. my experience is we become like a family. so plz ANYBODY who is a careg, a mom, a nurse, a dad, a caseworker...this petition needs to be signed and spread to every1 who values, life, fairness and disabled & the elderly, sign & pass, sign & pass....all my oh girls, plz sign...I dont know if letters are allowed. ill find out for u. be still 4 a few min to really understand how much more$ they will loose; they really know my pain and such!! please sign... power to the people, share with ur people too.
