guys had a bit of a challenge today, a spilled a powdered spice then to clean it up applied a popular store bought spotter to it... eeekkk wrong thing to do.. those store bought spotters actually do more harm that good.. with a powder (toner ink, spices, drink mixes) you want to vacuum slow and as much as you can..that will remove 95% of the problem..NEVER add moisture to the spill though because that will activate the dyes in the product and it sill spread right before your eyes..we have a special chemical that we apply that will not allow the spot to spread.. if it is a liquid spill such as red wine, red drink or anything with color just soak out as much as you can and leave it alone..you will not be able to remove all fo the color and the store bought product you put on it will prevent us from removing it 100%, however if left alone most of the time we can get it all out removing it in layers.. and we dont charge a penny extra for this kind of specialty work..most other companies start at 20-30 dollars extra to remove "specialty" spots..its all included in the job for us.. and coffee is a piece of cake unless its decaf..that has dye in it and is a bit more challenging but we can get it.. if you ever have a spot that you have a question about please dont go to the internet and look for the answer..call us, we will help you through it at no charge..we do it all the time.. 904-230-0678 Shell and Dave
