hI dear friends.... This was my dedication for this gathering.........Those who have not joined can read it here.............. Respected teachers and my dear friends….. First of all, let me wish all our respected and beloved teachers a warm Good Morning from ERNAKULAM , KERALA – Gods Own Country. I am Sudha Venugopalan , Hope all of you remember me….Friends remembered me… SUDHA KO THOTHA, some remember me by the name of SUDHAMA, ….This address I am sending to you all as I am unable to attend personally being laid up due to a fall. I think almost all of you in the group will forgive me for not participating. When last year in June , I had talked to Ramesh, through FB, he was so depressed about nothing materializing for such a gettogether, I always used to tell him, where there is a will there is a way, don’t be a spoilsport, we will plan it, first let us gather all and then move ahead….From there till today, I do feel that you all will also agree that Ramesh has been the pillar behind this great function where we all are meeting after THIRTY YEARS – THREE DECADES….IT IS A LONG TIME !! MOUNT CARMEL was a home away from home & we all were taught to gain wisdom for future. Our beloved teachers have taught us to be good listeners as well as good communicators. They have taught us to maintain and demonstrate the highest ethical values and character. They have always reminded us of responsibilities and commitments towards shaping our future... A teacher prepares her student not only for scoring high marks in the exams, but also for winning the challenges & victories of life with utmost simplicity & good faith. I still remember Mrs. Singh who had taught me, that standing first is not everything when I cried in the IInd std. for not getting 1st rank which was taken by NUPUR MATHUR who is presently serving as a Doctor in Bhopal. I still remember Sr.Wilfreda , who was there in 7th std…and who was very particular about our English grammar and pronounciation…the V AND W and the red marks all over our English notes and the imposition we have written innumerable times. Gupthabhaya Miss who is no more with us had always been a guiding influence in all our ventures may it be geography, socialstudies as a whole or extra curricular activities like dancing. The knowledge and the way of teaching of Geetha Miss of Social studies have helped me to cultivate my childrens interest in the subject of History, I always tell them and talk to them about my beloved school. We were mere clay when we reached the hands of our beloved teachers & they are the one who molded us to idols of inspiring personalities. Each of us , of this 1984 batch ,has reached various heights and are well settled with their families ,and it has been possible only with the hard work, sincerity and affection of these eminent personalities . Usually none of us like advises .But only bitter advises give sweet outputs. So we can say, our teachers are the people with torch of knowledge, who pass the light on to others. Everything that the teacher says and does will have an impact over the students. Our beloved Sr. Elvira has been a tower of strength and guidance for so many of us , there are no words with which to portray it. John sir I still remember your Maths classes and your writing the sums on the board, Rajwanshi Miss who always used to show us the mistakes even while speaking in Hindi. Sr.Lucetta and Sr. Eunicia , who had led this school being the Principal ‘s, we remember you very much. As a token of my love and gratitude…I have written a few words….DEDICATED TO OUR BELOVED TEACHERS AND OUR SCHOOL Please do forgive me if there are any mistakes… Mount Carmel The temple of learning which prepared our soul Creating personalities for the future, was its goal Our beloved teachers - They works so hard, day and night To make our futures surely bright They stay so calm and wise. The serenity and smile on their face, is the symbol of simplicity and grace. They teach us to take on life as a song With ideals so inspiring and so strong They supported us with encouraging words Taught us to fight our battles with invisible swords. They also gave us freedom to have fun And helped us to show our talents to everyone Many a times they had to scold because they wanted us to be bold They helped us to mould our attitude With their hearts full of gratitude. They taught us the importance of grace How beautifully they played their part Our beloved teachers dear have a special place in our heart THEY ARE THE BEST BETTER THAN THE REST WE LOVE YOU DEAR TEACHERS WE LOVE YOU MOUNT CARMEL Sudha Venugopalan now Sudha R.Nair KUDDOS TO RAMESH, RITA, NEELAM, ANNAMMA AND ALL TEAM MEMBERS IN GANDHIDHAM FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE …..
