ha ha ha. i remember this one. lol A prison employee was injured Monday morning when a fight broke out at the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison. A member of the prison’s emergency response team who tried to intervene suffered a cut on the hand and was treated at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, according to the Iowa Department of Corrections. The fight involved eight inmates who were participating in a program aimed at preparing them for release back to the general prison population after being held in segregation. Behavior problems are a common reason inmates are segregated from the general prison population, said corrections spokesman Fred Scaletta. Inmates’ movement around the prison was restricted following the fight. Scaletta said he could not comment on how the employee’s hand was cut because it is part of an ongoing investigation. Information about inmates’ injuries from the fight was not available Monday afternoon, Scaletta said. yeah, for those dont know what acually took place....he got stabbed and got stitches. this was the first report when they werent releaseing any info. still got the news paper clipping from when i was in there. lol. just bored so posting shit.
