had a good and fun day with my 7th graders; my 7th graders had to determine the volumes of different math Word problem. One of the worded problems neither asked for the whole volume nor the 2/5 of the volume; the problem asked for the unfilled volume which was a fraction of 3/5; I am weak in math comprehension when i rush through reading a a worded problem and so i calculated 2/5 of the filled volume instead.
