had a tiring weekend thankyou Diadene Malta for the brews this morning ,had an ok day at pet show on sat with the dogs rather boring as couldnt go and see anything as was on my own and was tiring for the dogs ,then this morning had the club camp show ,really disappointed with the judge if shes judged the breed before maybe she should refresh her memory and read the breed standard instead of asking exhibitors ,she hasnt got a clue about a puffs coat and apparently crested have to have pigment round their eyes according to this idiot and can totally disregard a dog on that point but yet put horrendous mouths undershot and absolute wreck with a couple of teeth up and place them .seriously were do they crawl out from I paid my entries the same as everyone else so the least I could expect is the judge to go over my dog and assess it on its own merit and to the breed standard instead of total disregard ,ponee won her 2 classes but still wouldnt enter under her again think shes a total prat and contemplating putting a complaint in ,as its alright to keep saying theres other judges on another day but then the judges who do make mistakes never learn by them as they arent brought to their attention and go away thinking theyve done a great job and to the principle winners they have ,but to learn anything they must be open to constructive critism good and bad ,and just because they are all the same colour doesnt mean thats judging to type .your supposed to be judging to improve the breed and look for dogs that are fit for function so many times nice dogs that are petrified of there own shadow backing off on the table ,scatty get put up thats not good for the breed. the breed standard is there for the people as a guideline and also mentions about temperament that is also part of breeding not just pretty dogs .
