had the most touching conversation ever tonight with Everett ( my drivers training teacher ) about defensive driving. he had me pull off on the Grass lake exit where the bridge is on your left and theres left and right turns only and with us being a drivers training class we had a free pass to just go straight over the road and back on the highway. I look both ways several times and gas it to start my way across and he stops me and sits for a minute in silence and I ask whats wrong? and he says to me young lady, 8 people have died right here because of what you just did. they did the exact same thing and didnt go home that night. and starts talking about how I should look farther and not just take a chance across because of the dangerousness of it. he said next thing you know your mom and dad will be placing your cross over there in the dirt for their baby girl. you dont want that do you? Im here to teach you defensive driving and Ive had a couple of my students think that they dont need this class and the knowledge I give to them after they leave and theyre 100% wrong. those students popped up Im the newspaper some time later and lost their life to driving. I dont want you to be one of them because your life is way more precious than one stupid move on the road, young lady. and I lost it. please, people, put your phone away and pay attention and make smart choices on the road. its your life out there. think about that and pay attention. please..
