hahah... the bad step is still there... every day people trip on their way in and out of muddy waters... do a video there... try this... dress someone up like a yuppie to buy 3 small coffees and have them use another cup to get a half cup of cream for the to-go coffees.... no problem right? Officer runners always come back with a half or 2/3 cup of cream & lots of sugar packets when they buy 3 or 4 cups of coffee, right ? Try doing that when you are poor or ill or arent dressed up ? That is how our friend Dawn was kicked out.... when a poor french girl was sent out to spy on her by a barista and in broken english... she said that girl has a carafe of milk which to the barista is like half a quart !!?/ in actuality, the poor customer had purchased 3 Extra Large Coffees and for that, she rightly got a 1/2 cup of cream to go with. But, when the french girl used th wrong word, it triggered the barista into a tirade, and she went outside screaming at the poor customer that she STOLE MILK from the cafe.... For that reason, only because she had taken a reasonable amount of milk to cover the 3 xtra large coffees she just purchased from the cafe for her and her friends to enjoy, outside at the tables. The poor customer reacted badly when she was accused and yelled at so presumptive, erroneously & aggressively by the barista that she blurted out in an east coast attitude sarcasm, Yeah. All I do is run around town from cafe to cafe, stealing milk... F@*CK YOU! Im not a thief !! That was it. The baristas paranoia, the french girls lack of english and overall bias that pre-existed on the part of the barista was all it took to wipe out a good cafe-customer relationship with a non-homeless person, who does no wrong and has money to spend. Instead, the barista did wrong. And for days she kept complaining about those homeless people and that homeless girl who stole milk to the point that many of us were irritated that she would keep repeating lies about someone we know to not be a thief and is not homeless... so we told her and then, one of our advocates was kicked out of Muddy Waters (again) without cause or reason, only because he stuck up and asked the offensive barista to stop ranting on homeless because it sends out bad vibes that harm folks based on appearance and life condition, not upon their actual conduct or behavior. Tsk, tsk, tsk. The Insane folks who harbor bias & prejudice towards people based on appearance and circumstancial crap are really a sad lot. They ruin local good will and business amongst those who USED TO SEND THEM TONS OF TRAFFIC in secret. Now we send them to other places who treat us all with reason, respect and dignity without the hate, bias and bad attitudes that existed before we even walked in their doorways or tripped upon their steps leading into their worlds of judgement & hate & control freaking....
