Always the rebel rallying against mainstream America, she once attempted to put LSD in President Nixon’s tea while at a White House event—they don’t call her the “Acid Queen” for nothing! Slick has influenced many rock ‘n’ roll greats, like Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Patti Smith and most recently, Florence Welch, from Florence + The Machine. So it comes as no surprise that the psychedelic rock pioneer has earned several honors and awards throughout her career. Cheers to you Grace -- happy 74th birthday!...
