happened to read this link by a young gal called surya moothar. brownandlovingit.wordpress/2013/10/19/surya-moothar-dark-and-beautiful-and-not-dark-but-beautiful/ well said soorya....most of it sounded like what id gone through until i realised, Beauty AINT Just Skin Deep... the ads on skin whitening products these days irritate me ,or actually scare me ..with each company competing each day to bring in a new product that whitens more...gosh what would they be adding in all these.. by creating a false sense of insecurity n low self esteem, what was targetted earlier towards adolescent gals,now seems to be towards older females too, in the name of Age Miracles..!! y dont u realise ,your Age IS your miracle..!! n they aint sparing guys either..a product launched less than 6 years from now ,claims to be the secret behind a famous actors victory, somebody who has been Ruling the industry for over 2 decades now..!! what an irony..!! .i really dont understand what they are upto.. promoting Racism?..seriously what does ur skin tone have to do anything with ur success..? only if MJ had sung his songs against racism without bleaching himself n falling prey to it...learn to respect urself ,wat u r, who u r, n not wat color u are..!! .imagine how ugly the world would look if it were all WHITE..!! anyways thats wat all our multinationals r upto these days..Whitewashing the whole world ! u switch on ur tv n all u can see in it is this White Revolution, right from ur Skin ur Teeth ur Clothes to ur TOILET..!!! lol..
