hard reality: only CO-NURSES could truly understand how it really feels inside.. how difficult it is for us to inject you without causing you pain. how painful it is for us to see your child crying while containing our anxiety deep within us and secretly praying, hoping for one best single attempt of that non-visible unstable vein. how badly it feels when we fail to insert your line and feel your agony. how hard it is for us to do multi-tasking--attending one patient after another, carrying out doctors orders here and there, completing loads of paperworks , coordinating your healthcare plan--while unknowingly skipping our meals and even holding our pee just to attend all your demands and urgent needs. how hurting it is for us to hold our tears and see you grief while doing our best to render your care. despite the tedious job, sad reality: nurses get scolded, and get abused too.... but we never talk,we never complain....we secretly cry and contain the feelings....and perhaps, nurses will even try to understand you.... yet you might not know it at all...you wont know how it really feels..because all you care is YOURSELF, fearing and hiding the reality that truly eats you... your pride. nurses wont even retaliate but rather extend their patience... In particulAr, Filipino nurses are not well compensated enough to be treated the way you wanted to,.... maybe when you learned how nurses get paid off in the philipines... maybe, just maybe youll soon realize how difficult our role is-- that we cannot even sustain a family and that OVERSEAS is our only chance to get out of this HARSH REALITY... nurses deserves to be RESPECTED and treated with DIGNITY. at the end of the day, Still I LOVE BEING A NURSE;) ;) wuhoooooooooooo!!!! LETS ALL LEAVE THIS COUNTRY GUYS!!
