has been listening to the under-rated Moby album, Hotel. On this one, he took much more of the vocal duties than on his previous couple of albums and there was much more of a songy structure to the music. This led to mixed reviews but I thought it was really good. Im always impressed by his multi-instrumentalist talents and whilst some criticise his poor vocal range, I like his voice, though I can spot the influence of Ian Curtis in his tone. Not such a bad thing in fairness. One of the highlights of the album was Slipping Away, which has the kind of melody that always works for me.
