has finished listening to Nick Carter - Master Detective - Echoes of Death, released by Radio Spirits. I was completely floored to learn that at one time, Nick Carters ever efficient secretary Patsy Bowen was referred to as newspaper reporter Scubby Wilsons girl friend in one episode. I had always thought that Nick and Patsy as a couple in this radio series. How long this relationship with Scubby lasted - only one episode in this collection - is unknown, so if any radio historians know the answer, Id welcome learning the why-fors and where-tos. What makes Nick Carter an enduring detective is that he can work through the most perplexing cases despite being flummoxed as to what happened. The stand out episodes in this collection are: The Echo of Death, The Case of the Wandering Macaroni, The Case of the Bearded Queen, The Case of the Bearded Queen, and The Case of the Absent Clue.
