have been fostering these two for over 3 months now. They are fixed and ready to go to forever home. They were neglected and abused beyond belief. When they came to me they were vicious. Could not touch them. I worked with them with a make shift hand that I made out of a glove and put on the end of a stick to get them use to being touched. It took me almost two weeks before I could touch them. I am working on socializing them with others, but it is a process. As you can see by the video, once they trust you, they are fine. They love me to pieces, but they have to go to a forever home soon. They had the worst tick infestation I have ever seen. They have been neutered, bathed, de ticked, frontlined and are getting very attached to me. They need a patient and loving person who will spoil them and treat them like a part of the family. They can go together or separate. They do feed off each others fear though. They still are scared of others, but are getting better. Please re-post. They are Chiweenies. They love Jerky Treats. That is what finally got to their hearts. LOL They were so scared they would not even come out of the crate for two days. Finally had to tilt the crate to get them out. Hard to tell by watching the video. I even am at awe. My friend said....Those are not the same dogs....and then laughed. They were rescued from a lady who has dementia and the others dogs she had were either hit by cars or rescued and placed. My friend is working on the cats that the lady has too. She was a hoarder. Flea, Tick, ant and cockroach infested house. Was horrible. Social Services has stepped in. I have named them Elvis and Presley because when they came to me they were All Shook Up. I really am praying for the perfect home for them. They are special need with serious fear issues. They need love, love, love and they will be your buddy forever.
