have been hearing and reading about non believers in God and Christ, atheists, muslims persecuting and butchering Christians simply because we dare to express non belief in Mohammed and their cult or we speak out against Islam. The ACLU got in to the mix insisting the ten commandments be removed because some half wit atheist claims the ten commandments are a violation against his rights. When anybody with an ounce of brains would have told this clown to pack sand the ACLU declares his rights we’re violated and OUR ten commandments we’re removed!! I’m only one man, but a desert starts with one grain of sand, so this grain of sand will tell you why there is unequivocally a GOD and there is Jesus Christ. My choice of worship is The Church Of Christ, when I moved to Las Vegas in 1999 I did not know of the location of one. But through a misfortune to someone dear to me I found one and I began attending services. I had always heard that God loves a cheerful giver, so I began putting more in the collection plate at church and I began getting more overtime at work, I began getting bonuses and other rewards at work, so this cheerful giver was rewarded for giving back some of what God gave to me each day. When Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait I deployed with 3rd Tracks Amphibious Assault Battalion from Camp Pendleton in Calif. During a night time move we surprised a company of Iraqi soldiers in the dark and we came under heavy fire. Being the company “ Doc “ I was riding inside one of the tracks and it was all buttoned up. Yes I was scared, if any man who has been in combat say’s he wasn’t afraid he is either a liar or insane and I am neither one. So I recited the lords prayer again and again because it’s all I could remember, and suddenly a feeling of peace came over me and I wasn’t afraid any more. It felt like someone had touched me to reassure me that everything was going to be alright and it was, not one of my marines we’re hurt. I have explained to my kids that when we sit down to eat and I ask Gods blessing on the food it becomes the Lords table, and they do not disrespect the Lords table. My family always has more than enough to eat and no matter how tight things get around the end of the month we always have enough. And lastly no matter how hard science always’s attempts to explain the wonderful miracle of birth in a scientific manner it always’s falls pitifully short every time because miracles cannot be explained away. Be a grain if sand, become part of a desert, do not be afraid to proclaim your love and belief in Jesus The Christ and Your God, because they certainly believe in you and love you. The next time someone asks you do you believe and do you love God and Jesus just say YES!!!
