have had a few enquiries from parents of children who currently swim with us re next half term. Letter were sent out about 3 or 4 weeks ago explaining the situation but it seems that the message , for whatever reason, has not reached everybody. Basically, the boiler that serves the pool also serves the school. During the winter months most of the heat will be diverted to the school and we risk arriving at the pool to find it too cold to swim. Rather than have to cancel lessons, we have decided to put on the crash course INTEAD of the next half terms swimming. I appreciate that this will not suit everybody, but until the boiler situation is rectified, we are making the best of what we have. Normal swimming will be resumed once the weather is better next spring. I have been assured by the headteacher that he will be obtaining quotes for a new boiler and looking into any funding available. Please don.t forget to inform me of any changes of phone number or email address so I can contact you. I will also post on here and send flyers to all the schools that currently have children attending our lessons. I will reserve your childrens places at their current times and days. If you wish to alter these, we can do that nearer the time. In the meantime, there are a few places left on the half term crash course between 11-12. If you wish to book, please let me know asap. We will continue working on the childrens badges during the half term course.
