havent posted on the farm in awhile, apologies. have had a great harvest so far, freezer is full of collards and mustards, bell and banana peppers, and the tomatoes are ready to ripen, and the potato and carrots we have planted are doing well, just letting sit until we need to harvest them, likely by thanksgiving. we were challenged this year from either having heavy rains in the early summer, temps staying in the upper 90s for most of the late summer, and there was a rise in insects during the late season. Despite that, and with Gods blessing, we managed to harvest enough for our winter. We cannot believe that the holidays are around the corner. we pray each one who follows our farm is blessed with the spirit of giving thanks this season, and that whether you are near or far, we are wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving. Well be taking our kids to the fair tomorrow. looking forward to all the crafts, livestock shows and all the fair food!
