havent turned on the TV yet today but quite sure Thunder didnt overcome that 30 point deficit they were sucking air through at the end of the 3rd qtr last night...however, my pards and my co-win yesterday at golf stands and I am happy to report my pard, Jerry told me that at all those bad shots and missed putts Ive been humiliating myself with are NOT my fault...he made a few very rare errant shots himself yesterday and explained to me that the BALL is the problem..not the golfer...of course , I knew he was shining me on and being tongue in cheek about our occasional meltdowns, but I like his rationale....that was a bad course, however, as the rough is totally not mowed and it is very difficult to find any ball that doesnt find the fairway and the course there was more crowded than a weekday should be so there was no time to hunt lost balls...dont like pressure from players behind our group pushing us...good thing Fathers day is coming up as a few hints here and there may get my offspring to pop for a dozen new Taylor Made golf balls should the mood hit them...if not I may have to resort to the few hundred used balls I have stored in a tub and boxes in the shed...not caring much for the proposed new agenda my doctor recommended for me to drop a few pounds and restrict my diet from more meat to less veggies, even though Miss Patsy thinks its a KEEN idea...the other doctor that did the surgery to remove a kidney stone in March from me has recommended that I drink three glasses of lemonade a day, unsweetened, of course, and Im not that much on lemonade even sweetened...Ill give it a try,though, because it frustrates my two buddies, Sylvia and Nita, as well as Miss Patsy when I disregard precautionary advice about diabetes and blood pressure norms...going to get a new pump installed on my well today that we ve never used since weve been out here (11yrs) and Jimmy still has a barn full of corn to crack, so it is going to be another glorious today in the life of me...hope so for you, too...got some friends and loved ones needing prayer and could use a lift in spirit and health today, as I am sure you must have as well, so why dont we all take a minute to give thanks to our lord and ask for his hand on those we care about and know He is needed to touch them today...can I get an amen from the brethren..
