hello all: im asking for prayers for lexie { and me ].... shes had some issues for a while that ive tried to deal with as i could .. [ dry itchy skin , ear infection? , sore hip issues ] starting today the hips ? really got bad,she didnt get up and start moving around this morning for our first walk as usual and didnt quickly go for her food / water as she normally would ethier not until i was fully dressed and jingling her leash , did she finally struggle up and move with some obvious pain! once she got going , it was a little better, but still... since then, the pattern has repeated , she doesnt move much, except for a walk with pain.. obviously she needs a vet visit, that is something i cant afford to do.... i estimate that it would cost me a few hundred dollars to take her in to the v.c.a. people that last saw her [ mid range priced , but great caring vets] , to take her to a cheaper less caring place would still be more than i could pull off.. i live on a fixed income and have no real practical options to raise / make more money.... what can i do?? lexie is my responsibility and very important to me! ive been very blessed these last 8 + years to have her in my life and have her be as healthy and strong and as happy as shes been... owning a dog [ much like my car]has been something that ive pretty much done on a wing and a prayer , hoping that the worst didnt happen , being afraid that it would and not being able to pay for what needed doing.. in the past, there were resources i had that helped me greatly to take care of lexie etc, those are now gone, i cant rely on them and i find myself really worried that inevitably / soon ? it will come to that time where i have to say goodbye to lexie... that is very difficult to accept, i might have to, so im asking for prayers.. i know those do help , blessings to us all , thanks , david hatch
