hello everyone.... i am a past student of UWC and majored in politics and had the pleasure of having Dr. Joelien Pretorius as one of my professor. Never for once in my life have I have been exposed to such amazing political discoveries and enlightenment until i studied at UWC. Not only did i rediscover the pride of having African roots but UWC instilled in me a ravenous hunger for African politics.... even during my first post grad at Oxford my thesis was on African politics, even in my line of work at Foreign affairs as a diplomat i focused on African issues....and now as i complete two other post grad still i am focusing on African politics. I never really got the chance to say thank you to UWC and the political studies department for providing such a strong platform in my development and love of African politics. I have chosen a topic for my current Masters Thesis,...which will be looking at impacts of terrorism in africa on global security....Any comments/suggestions on resources will highly be appreciated.
