hello everyone! im simon. i live in berlin for almost 4 years. before that i lived in detmold and participated to GYOP workshop in 2008 + 2009 in Detmold, also worked as a volunteer for Kultur & Art, helped organizing the ISFF 2009, 2011 and 2012. The workshops has been a very nice experience to me, I enjoyed getting in touch with new people and making new friends as much as I enjoyed the creative process of making a short film in a very short time. I work as a social worker and see beside a few K&A workshops I dont have a lot experience in making films and see it more as a hobby. Im happy to join GYOP after 5 years again and looking forward to see old friends and meet new people. Im curious about visiting Datca. I havent been to Turkey since 2011. Ive been there a couple of times. First with K&A in Izmir in 2009, afterwards on my own in Ankara and in Istanbul to visit friends and spend my holidays. I alwalys had a great time there and Im very happy to finally go there again. Also I hope to improve my little turkish a bit :)
