hello everyone , we have opened up and are sorting out most of the problems and doing what we can to get back to normal. things are slowly coming together and there have been no major stuff ups. I would really like to thank our staff who have put up with the heat , the pressure , the disorganisation and still managing to smile and greet our customers as if it was a normal day . I would also like to thank our customers for welcoming us back with a show of support and well wishes that we are really grateful for ,we missed you and I hope you missed us too. we still have some ongoing cleaning up to do in the back of the bakery which should happen soon and then we can open up properly and show anyone who is interested our new bakery . as we get more organised we will expand our range and start looking like a bakery again ,we have a pretty woeful variety of pies at the moment but that will change soon hopefully. I have a guy coming up next week to show me some artisan breads and how to make them (Ciabatta ,sourdough etc ) and with practice well have that out there which will be sensational . We will also be open on Saturdays as well as staying open to five in the afternoon if you would like a coffee after work. Our new chef Nicky Mclaren has said she will show me how to make chunky meat pies and pepper steak so thats something Im looking forward to. lots of things happening and exciting times ahead .
