hello friends, I shared this post on a FB group I am on and thought Id share it here too, about the law of attraction: Day 18 Ha ha, yes I recall those days well where I’d write those lists of the qualities I wanted in a mate. And then one day I looked at the list and realized, if you want to meet this person maybe you ought to *be* this person! LOL. More inner work to be done. Ha! There actually is a ‘law of attraction’ in this universe and it is: Like attracts Like. In relationships it may sometimes look like opposites attract but that’s usually based on superficial stuff like personality and such. The law of “like attracts like explains a lot of things. For example, we have all read about people who gain a lot of money and a few years later they are in the same financial position as before the gain. “A Course in Miracles” tells us about the ‘scarcity’ consciousness, and coming from that state we will soon return if we don’t do the inner work to heal it. And we’ve all lived it in the sense that the Course would say that it’s the “separated ones” who think they are a part from the abundance of the universe. Several years ago I was struck when I read reviews on books authored by several women who had ALL been on Oprah and had become bestselling authors as a result. At this point in time they had all written books about their divorces and the loss of their money. I was intrigued and ordered their books, although admittedly haven’t read them all. But I was intrigued by what fame and presumably riches had done to their lives. Beliefs in unworthiness, lack… were probably in play here. Nevertheless, once we understand how the laws of the universe really work, it all makes more sense. Holy Spirit, I am willing to let go of my belief in lack, limitation and need. Today, I am willing to Surrender to the truth that I am unlimited, and I am free. I let go, and let You heal my mind.
