helpformoore/ Providing furniture for families in crisis or need The mission of the Furniture Bank of Oklahoma City is to help meet the home furnishing needs of refugees, foster families, disaster victims, and the working poor. Due to the recent disasters, we also started providing furniture to those affected by the storms and tornadoes that ripped through Oklahoma. The Furniture Bank of OKC permanently operates from 3922 NW 10th Street in Oklahoma City. We quickly expanded so that we could serve as a significant resource for those whose homes were profoundly damaged or destroyed. In response to the tornadoes, a second location has been opened so that we can be easily accessible to those impacted by the recent tornadoes. The Moore location has moved. The new warehouse and furniture store is located at 6501 South I-35 Service Road (take the SW 59th Street exit, then head south on the I-35 access road). If you have a FEMA number and were impacted by the recent tornadoes and need furniture to help furnish your new apartment, rental home, or temporary housing, we need to let you know that the response to our efforts to assist you has been huge. To date, we have served over 100 families and 500 others already have appointments scheduled. We are moving as quickly as possible to meet your needs. The best way for you to schedule an appointment time is by applying online at: helpformoore Please do not call the Furniture Bank phone number, the online option is your best way to get an appointment scheduled.
