Too many talented people lack the resources and support to succeed professionally, main reasons being lack of funding, exposure and resources. Another big hurdle is the lack of promotion and public awareness. It is difficult for the public to support someone they don’t know. SO OUR HATS GO OFF TO THE HERALD for telling Tasha’s story to the whole of Zimbabwe. To build on this, a group of Mbareans have formed Team Tasha to help Tasha get to the highest level in Tennis. We really believe Tasha can play in grand slams and we would all love to see Tasha in Wimbledon. Team Tasha has found a training camp in Florida and we strongly believe it will help Tasha to go up a few levels. The camp will cost us US$5,000.00 (including fares) and funds have already started rolling in.
