here is a brief somewhat simplistic summation of what i think is going on: there is a gigantic mega-wealthy criminal organization. (i call it the KOCH Machine, but you can call it anything you want.) it is an organization of the rich, but they recruit an army from the poor. sometimes they fight one poor army against another poor army. they have been doing this for centuries. there is a cycle. they allow the poor to build a better world. then they take it away. (the Clintons built a better world. Bush took it away. the economy booms and the treasury is rich. the economy crashes and the rich empty the treasury. back to work, suckers.)
