here is my poem for a Halloween contest. Here are the rules as usual. Give me a poem no longer than 25 lines, the spookier the better, rhyme or free verse. Make it sound real Witching Hour On this dark and dreary night the horrors were all a fright. for witches this was a delight. Eye of newt and dragons wing the witches cackle as they sing as they dance around the ring. Cauldrons filled with burning goo bloody victims turning blue waiting to be witches brew. Witchs cauldrons bubbled strong now was the time for their song please take care to follow along Mash them, bash them shake them, break them slash them, smash them Boil their bones til theyre clean cook them til theyre nice and sheen taking care to not turn green Screams all around the witches lair were almost too much to bare was it was only a nightmare?
