here is my review of Gangs of New York my thought it a epic masterpiece movies and it one of the best ! movie that Martin Scorsese had ever Director . it was Director by Martin Scorsese it was Release on December 20 2002 the casting is perfect Leonardo DiCaprio giving his best performance as Amsterdam Vallon Daniel Day‑Lewis giving his best performance as Bill The Butcher Cutting Cameron Diaz giving her best performance as Jenny Everdeane . the story take place in mid 19th century in the five points district of lower Manhattan . a young Irish immigrant Amsterdam who return to the mean streets of new York city to seek revenge on the rival gang leader Bill The Butcher the man who killed Amsterdam father the reason why I love gangs of new York is because the scope the massive sets look amazing beautiful because it look very old fashioned witch I love and the costumes design too because it look very old fashioned like the clothes the top hat and they use horse carriage to get around or they walk another reason why I love the set design is because it look very old fashioned and those set design was build in Rome and design by Dante Ferretti another reason why I love gangs of new York is because of the performance of Leonardo DiCaprio giving his best lending performance because you can see it in his eye he want revenge on Bill The Butcher so badly and he did and DiCaprio was a perfect choice to play Amsterdam Vallon Daniel Day‑Lewis was a perfect choice to play Bill The Butcher because he own this movie ever single scenes that he was in was perfect and so brilliant too another reason why I love gangs of new York is because the opening battle scene it epic and it crazy because you have 2 gang that hate each other and they beat the crap out of each other the opening battle scene is also beautiful shot and very well put together and I love ending battle between the gang is epic very crazy because they set their town on fire and building was on fire and the 2 gang beat up a lot of police office too and lot of riot and Mayhem the police office shoot lot of people in the gang because 2 gang want to face off and have a big brawl gangs of new York did very well at the box office it made over 193,772,504 and Richard roeper a movie critic call Gangs of New York the best movies of 2002 on the tv show call roeper and Ebert at the movies Gangs of New York also won nominations for 10 Academy Awards but did not won any which make me shocking and angry but it did won 2 Golden Globe Award like best song call The Hands That Built America and Martin Scorsese won a Golden Globe Award for Best Director overall gangs of new York is a epic perfect masterpiece movies and it the best movies of the 2000s I am very proud to giving gangs of new York a perfect 10 out of 10 !!!!!!!
