here we are... ...the reconquest of Flanders from french occupation ! :p (y) :D i prepare that since more of a decade (in the game) to attack french troops in Brussels... i conquered Flanders from Spain around 1712-1714 (+/- dont remember exactly when but it was just before peace of 1714 with Spain). i lost it after, coz of french armies in 1719, just after new war started (2nd war with Frenches, the 1st during from 1702 to 1711 with victory for me). this new 2nd war during till now (1719-1732+....?) and my real 1st objective VS France is to take back Flanders from them (logic). ...i prepare that since looong time to have enough land troops to do it... :) my land forces (with max size 3D option about 160units per infantry regiment) are around 7800units globaly (3 armies with more of 2200men and +/-450cav regiments+150milicians infantry survivors to protect provinces ports&capitals if any ennemy attack me back where my big armies are not... plus some regiments of cav survivors making sabotage in all homelands of my 3 ennemies: Spain, France and Maraths). my 3 armies have 7200 units, +/-5000 of them (2armies of 20reg + 2 reg of 60cavaliers more) are in Flanders province as its show on screenshot for conquest of Brussels... :) last 3rd army (20reg) is sieging Bogota in South America with a quite big army of amerindians inside (+/-1700units for 15reg). i will not attack them in 3D view, they will surrender in maximum 3turns or trying to get out before (in that case, i will not be forced to attack fortifications)... and no other ennemy units can save them in that part of America zone, the more closer serious spanish force is in north of South Carolina province (conquered from UK before they make peace in 63th turn)... ... i control all Carribean seas, they should have some problem to joint Bogota... (y) so, i guess thats all to say about it... here is a part about resume of land events in my campaign with Holland... (could say more about India but since loose of my army in Carnatia province, there are few activity on that front: i continue my strong bloccus of indian coasts and make max trouble i can inside Marath lands with my cavalery survivors) :) but the real challenge is in Europe for the moment... am quite nervous about this conquest of Flanders, even if theoricaly my 2 armies are better & more bigger, we never can be sure... :/ and there is always a serious spanish army protecting Paris since some turns. if that army enter in the dance around Brussels, things can change bad too... :( i will see soon... :) ++
