hey everyone. I am going to be leaving my job today. It is in Riverdale, NY. It is a bit a of a commute for people in Jersery but it is not that bad. If anyone is interested please let me know. I am currently their grant management specialist and i just dont feel that it is the right fit for me anymore. there is nothing wrong with the job at all. it is actually enjoyable. the people hear are great and my boss is a kind hearted person that only wants to see the best for her small research firm that she took over. Dr. Douglas Holmes was the man who started it and unfortunately he passed away at a young age due to a progressive disease. Since, my boss Dr. Teresi has taken it over and has done the best that she can to run the administrative end of the research firm as well as research end of the research firm. okay, so a bit about the position..... i majored in math but you do not necessarily need a math major to do the job. accounting, business, or any passion for statistics or geriatrics will do. Right now what i do is make sure that the budget stays in balance and that we are invoicing for all of the current contracts that we have for each grant. it is a small research firm so it is not hard work and the pay and people are good... if anyone is interested please let me know and send me your resume... i will forward your information to Dr. Teresi and help train you for the position before i leave. god bless.
