hey guys, I know we mostly discuss guitar stuff but I have a drum question. I am a guitar playing currently considering picking up the drums and I am looking for a kit (this is my first kit I own nothing). Looking for something in the 600-800$ range. Right now 3 kits that caught my eye are the gretsch energy, ludwig element or pearl export (mainly because they have the sizes im interested in 12-13, 16, 22 and include the hardware I need). Playing the usual music (hillsong, JC, tomlin). I like low tuned and deep sounding toms. Anyone ever play one of these three? Any advice? Asthetically I love the vintage fibe/look of gretsch and ludwig kits but the hardware on the pearl seems really nice. Open to other suggestions but my max budget is 1K for everything and I wont go over. This is likely a hobby for me, not sure it will ever be something I play out so Im not gonna break the bank.
