hey guys, regretfully posting this add. Going back to school on the coast in September and looking to get something more suited to my 100km daily commute. Up as a feeler for sale or possibly trade is my 87 mk2 16v. Have a binder of close to 20k in receipts of work from the previous owner and myself. Engine was rebuilt about 25k KM ago by Autospiel in victoria. A 2.0L ABF was swapped in which had 129K on it, now about 145 but still fresh from rebuild. Engine: Gas Flowed 1.8L 16v GTI head 264 kent cams kent adjustable cam pulley Schrick valve springs Five angle valve grind Schrick oil pan Gas flowed 50mm Euro intake manifold European fuel injection system Power Roar intake tube Lightened and balanced flywheel Scorpion 2.25 stainless catback exhaust Engine wiring run through fenders Cadnium plated fasteners After Market oil cooler kit (just did seals) Braided Vaccuum Lines Recently Rebuilt GTI transmission Nology Hotwires Newer heater core Probably more Im forgetting Chassis: BBS RX 7.5x16 Rims on Yokahama s-drives Original BBS rims on winter tires Bilstein Struts and shocks (sitting fairly low) Suspension Techniques 23mm front sway bar, 25mm rear sway bar Neuspeed upper strut brace Neuspeed trunk strut brace Polyeurathane Bushings (could use replacing) Hawk slotted and cross drilled rotors front and back Hawk HPS high performance front and rear brake pads Brembo cross drilled front and rear discs Interior: Nardi Torino Race steering wheel Limited GTI shift knob Sparco Alloy Pedals Limited GTI floor mats White face VDO gauges (including oil pressure gauge fitted into dash) mk3 turn signal stalks, power windows, locks and mirrors. crank sunroof black headliner Ive put in leather recaros too, have old seats Black redstripe interior no badges missing Exterior: Clear euro side markers m3 style rear light clusters Color coded big bumper conversion Euro Quad round grill w/ upper grill spoiler OEM hella foglights VR6 chin front lip single wiper conversion full bare metal respray dark red metallic engine bay and door jambs done, everything. Just had Jerome at Monashee repaint the rear bumper (got scuffed) color coded ender flares lay flat rear wiper Stereo: alpine head unit alpine 2 and 4 channel amps Quarts 2 and 4 channel amps JL 10 sub custom fitted into trunk monster cables throughout. Theres a few things the car needs; but i have all the parts, just not a lot of time on my hands. needs: pass side window regulator - have it just has to be put in. lock pump - have it, just needs to be put in. doesnt need a new fuel pump yet, but i have a brand new bosch fuel pump (giving the car a little gas helps at the moment) in the box with a receipt I sense a small vacuum leak, car sometimes idles at 1500 rpm.. just bought a few feet of vacuum line with fitters and check valve. the hawk brakes are currently in the mail.. right now it has a passer conversion which needs to be replaced The price reflects this, and in a month or so when all the parts are in the price will go up. These are easy things to do for people with the time. 5500; open to trades and i can put cash on top, but i more or less want a mk5 gti or a mk4 GLI.. thanks for looking
