hey now,anyone out there up for a bike ride?? great allegany passage pittsburg,pa-cumberland,md.-9/15 to 9/??.149 miles total. last 15 miles downhill..slow paced ride.i havnt been on my bike for years.!hybrid or mt. bike recomended,or road bike w/knobby tires.crushed limestone old rail access.they say smooth and even riding surface.could rent bikes and gear in pittsburg if we need..i have a friend at rei pittsburg and i will be getting panniers etc.can do each day with support vehicle and camp or motels at night.wouldnt need anything but snacks,water etc for the day. i need some time on a trail and i think ive hiked my share(7000 plus miles) any input would be appreciated. looking forward to catching up with some folks,mike evans
