hi all...i live on 43rd st, and a friend and I are trying to help alleviate the feral kitty problem on our street and have started to trap them to get them spayed and neutered, so we can stop the cycle of kittens....today we set two traps in my neighbors front yard, 1200 block of 43rd st, in well hidden shrubby areas and covered them well....this was at 4:30... i went to check them at 6:30 and one was stolen, with the cover tossed in a tree!!!! i cant imagine someone casually walking down the street would see us doing this and know what we are doing (yard is overgrown, etc) and just decide to steal it....im so disgusted...the cat we are hoping to catch tonight is pregnant and now i had to bring the other trap in because i dont have a way to lock it. If anyone has any info on the thief, please let me know, i would love to kick someones butt. What is wrong with people??? UGH!!
