hi there i`ve been browsing this page for a few months now with the intention of eventually posting for advice regarding a holiday to florida. we are absolute first timers. never been to any part of america or outside europe for that matter. where do we begin? we are looking at october 2016, probablly the end of october. we are a family of 4. my husband and i and our son who will be 19 by then and our daughter who will be 11 while we are away. from what i have looked at online, the whole thing seems to be a bit of a minefield. do we go in a hotel, do we get a villa, do we book via a travel agent, do we do it all independently. it just seems to be a never ending stream of questions and its all beginning to make my brain hurt if i`m honest, which makes me just want to say, lets leave it and go back to cyprus!!! but i figure with my son being 19 this will most likely be our last big family holiday so we might as well go out with a bang, and theres nowhere better to go out on a bang than florida/disney! so could someone please tell me where to start? what should i be considering? whats vital? whats not so vital? i wouldnt say we were on a budget, and realise you get what you pay for but we also dont have a magic porridge pot of a budget! all replies will be very gratefully recieved x
