hi. this is harley. i am posing here with my cat sister, agnes. (agnes is the evil cat millies daughter). we hardly ever write about agnes, because we dont see her that much. agnes likes to pretend that she is wild cat. but she like to follow us on our forced marches. today, we set out to march to our favorite duck pond (to the side that doesnt have all the nasty signs that say we cant be there). i noticed right away that agnes was behind us. shed hide and duck behind trees, bushes and fences every time mama #2 turned around to see why we girls were marching so slowly. well, just before we got to the duck pond, agnes charged ahead of us. imagine mama #2s surprise when she saw agnes sitting right next to a no trespassing sign with a very self-satisfied look on her fuzzy face! mabel and i were laughing at agnes joke when she suddenly decided to run home. mama #2 freaked out a little bit. i mean, we were about a mile from home and she had no idea what agnes was up to. so, mama #2 takes off after agnes, marching us (sort of) as fast as our pudgy little paws could go. we followed agnes almost all the way home. she disappeared when we turned the last corner before our house. mama #1328 (number drop!) stopped on our front porch to catch her breath. well, we all did, cuz we were pretty winded after our mile march-run. when mama # 4398 (number drop!) finally opened our front door, we found agnes all curled up on our favorite comfy couch, pretending to be asleep. mama #5234 (yes, her number is still falling) fell for the act, and scooped agnes up and hugged her. she was so happy that agnes was ok, that she forgot to give me and my sisters our chewy bone marching treat. so, we did march to our favorite duck pond today, but we only got to stay there for about 15 seconds. i am glad to be home and glad that agnes is ok. but i really do want my chewy bone treat, mama # 9999! (yes, mama #2, your number will continue to drop until we get our chewy bones!!!)
