honestly i do agree with a bunch of this. lets be honest, cosplay has kinda become a shit show at times. and yes before i get 20,000 comments on how i do half this stuff think about this. for a month i did nothing but game and people wondered if i cosplayed any more. truth was i didnt have the money because i wasnt willing to buy into it as if my next costume would keep my life afloat. playing games was free (kinda, i had saved up money for my rig for about 3 years little by little and i had massive help through other sources) and still a way to keep connected to you guys so why not. i may live at home but unlike most people i know who cosplay and live at home I pay all my own bills that include car issuance, health insurance ( i have yet to get any sort of coverage through my job/ parents are self employed and dont have it covered through work), recently if you have been on my stream 50% of the time i get interrupted to try and solve these problems, food expenses, gas money, and i work 40+ hours part time a week to make sure i never have debt issues. why do this all? because i love to and what i do actually makes me extremely happy. all you guys when i do finish something new or play games with me really are super awesome. and yes i am aware i am selling my prints to fund my trip, why? its a buffer. i have the money but i am aware i normally get surprise bills at time i may not have seen coming and i always need something extra just in case. but i dont want to just ask for money i sell prints of photos i spent a whole lot of time and effort to create so you actually are getting something worth while in the end too.
