how is it that Stephan Fry and the Gay lobby and the western media dont make a fuss about Saudi Arabia where gays face a death sentence and the lash, by law? Of course one piece of ignorance doesnt excuse another - all the same, when you think about the hullabalo about Russia and its laws which simply stop gays from distributing so called pro-gay literature to under 10 year olds and you compare this with their absolute silence on the evil of Saudi law, it does raise the issue of exactly how manipulated Stephan Fry and others are -- but perhaps manipulated isnt the right word, how about conniving? After all Saudi is one of the five most important US allies, perhaps that explains their deafening silence but this is a matter of principle right?
