I think that one of the most self esteem boosting things you can do for your talented child is to introduce them to the world of pageantry and/or competitive dance. I am also author of the book MOMAGER NOTES (What You Should Know If Youre Considering Managing Your Childs Talent For A Career In Tv, Film Or Broadway) where I give parents my perspective on how to best prepare themselves and their children for the entertainment industry. My daughter (co-founder), is enjoying a very successful 10 year run on Broadway, having been in such productions as 42ND Street, Monty Pythons Spamalot and ELF the Musical. She is currently cast on BROADWAY in Disneys ALADDIN at the New Amsterdam Theater.
