That power itself, comes from controlling scarce resources. That people who need, can only provide, if they submit to the power that control the resource of needs. Ergo, if we focus on producing an over abundance of resources, to meet needs, power has no means of consolidating effect in a particular direction... The article somehow passes over what I think is most revealing about the nature of this system! And that is regarding, the reduction or abolition of processes that need/mandate/ or call for scarce resources... Simple example: We used to hunt whales for the oil rich blubber, and spermaceti in sperm whales... But we dont worry about the demise of the whales as a result of whaling anymore, and that is because the process that called for whale oil was made obsolete by the light bulb! Let this be an illustration of notion that allows you to think about a different means or mode of operation: CHANGING YOURSELF and YOUR CULTURE(or your world-to-self interface) to fit the world we actually live in. This, instead of CHANGING YOUR WORLD in order to continue doing what you all have, only, been taught to do anyways!
