https://youtube/watch?v=-efiEOb2qEU Sorry that this one is so long but there is a lot about this movie that I like I apologize about all of the movie talk lately but there are just so many good ones that come out around Oscar time and I like to share about them. Just saw Birdman and I thought it was awesome but its not what the trailers show it to be. It is not a super hero movie, it is about an actor who played a super hero at one point in his career and is haunted by his alter-ego. What I got from the movie is that it is basically sucking the dick of the acting world. Almost a parody. They cover everything from the washed up super star trying to make a comeback to the snotty critic. Everyone in Hollywood is raving about this movie because it is about their lives. They included a scene where Keaton verbally destroys a critic to her face which I feel is how any actor/director/writer has been wanting to do to every critic since the dawn of acting. They even take a rip on social media and how Youtube hits equal power. My favorite thing about it is how it was shot. They made it look like it was done all in one take. It was very cool how they did it. There is only one other movie I have seen like that, a Alfred Hitchcock film called Rope. I just think the less cuts the more you feel involved. The acting is off of the charts. Everybody did amazing. It is great to see Michael Keaton back on the scene. Just with Beetlejuice and Batman I have idolized since my childhood. This movie is almost like his life. An actor who was a superstar due to a comic-book character he portrayed in the early 90s(Batman) who fell off of the radar and is now giving up everything(including his sanity) to stay relevant in the acting world. Not sure if Keaton went through what he does in the movie but the similarities make you wonder if her wrote this script himself. I cant say enough about it so if you saw it and were confused or want to talk about it feel free to comment. 10/10
