https://youtube/watch?v=0G9OnavuRhE Today I share with you an attempt to testify to the Jews. The man is amiable towards the Jews and tries his best. But what he is really trying to convey is not the Gospel, but a doctrine. And he has not received it by himself by reading and studying the Scriptures, but he tries to share the teaching of someone else, which he sadly, does not even understand fully and he confesses it too. As a result sadly, as he was testifying to a well-known and very intelligent Jewish friend of mine, who is also an author, this video testimony of his has been retweeted by him and another very fair and intelligent Jewish author and human rights activist, and it does not really give the best testimony. Now, we can always say that at least he made his best try. Sadly, if we do not share Jesus, but try to share a doctrine, which is not even ours to begin with, as when it came to the concept of Rapture, the man had to confess that we have not come to agreement regarding that and that he did not really know, then maybe we should just stick to sharing what we have seen and known and heard, which would be Jesus. We are to be His witnesses, witnessing about the change He has brought into our life. That is the gospel. If we, instead of sharing the pure gospel message, try to convey a doctrine which we have heard from the others and do not honestly have a clue about really, for we do not go to our Bible to find out how the things really are, then we may end up spreading confusion. The intents are good, but regarding this matter here it is now what a significant portion of the church does. Only very few believers go into their Bibles and take their time to read about the end times and meditate on the read and pray in the Holy Spirit to understand the meaning of the prophesies. And it has to do with the prophesies and grasping them. We all have a prophetic spirit, and we can all go directly to God and ask Him for the revelation. But in order to understand the prophesies written in the Bible we have to take the time to get to know them. We have to invest time and effort to dig into the written Word of God and then invest into meditating and praying over the Word in the Holy Spirit. That gives us the revelation light. Jesus is understood by everyone though. We share what we have and what we have seen and what we have heard, and what He has done in our life. There is no need to try to share the complicated or less complicated teachings which are meant for the church of Christ, to the unbelievers, especially if we do not have it clear for ourselves even. So, it is surely better to do than not to. And it is better even to fail than never attempt. And the main thing is that our heart is right. But let us concentrate on Jesus and telling the unbelieving world about what we know about Him, for it is the only teaching they can actually grasp, and the only teaching we can share without a need to dig deep in the Word. The rest of the teaching belongs to believers, though. It is the light of Christ which illuminates the heart which has been in darkness and once when understood and accepted, will dispel the dark shadows of the past. Let us not then make our gospel preaching complicated. And let us stick to the known and the understood and share what we really have. God bless you!
