Here are three clips the first is of Tyson and Smith the second is of Pot and Saenchai whilst the third clip is something i put up on my group page some months back and which is currently doing the rounds .The purpose of these clips is to show the importance of the clinch whos hand insertions can be performed in many different ways and for many different reasons and not just one way for the same reason as popularized by a certain American SP expert .Indeed rather than intercepting say an overhand right by wedging against both the incoming arm and more stationary neck simultaneously with both hands in the hope of keeping away and controlling danger . A safer way would be as Smith does against Tyson one of the biggest hitters in the world and the street defender does against a baseball bat . And that is to move your head away from the danger of the right or the baseball bat rather than towards it and at the same time insert the left hand/ arm to cover the right nearer to the right upper arm , shoulder and neck of the opponent whilst using your right hand to gain control of the opponents left . This kind of an entry against an aggressive attacker is not only one of the safest but it affords many finishing possibilities ...
