How does one decide WHICH nurses are going to do the counting, if any ONE of them are incompetent to do so alone? How does one delegate the task? I mean; do you say to nurse #1 that she count the first fifteen, while the second takes the next four? Or ... how do they know that TWO nurses are needed to count the wounds, if they dont know HOW many wounds there are to start counting? And if TWO nurses were needed to count the wounds, it must have given a good indication of just how untrustworthy those nurses truly were. And that being the case, HOW can we be sure of nineteen stab wounds? But I think the most IMPORTANT question to ask is this: If NINETEEN nurses counted the wounds, would the results have been different? This is all very traumatic for me ...
