https://youtube/watch?v=8nfmdongnxQ I have an interesting song here tonight. I find it pretty relaxing; its an awesome combination of chill electronic and classical Japanese/Chinese. Ever since hearing classical Japanese-style music in games like Okami, Ive been quite fond of the sound, and I like how well it mixed with modern sounds here; I absolutely love it when two diversely different genres come together so seamlessly. Songs like this make me happy to be living in the age I am, where the sounds of the past and the present (and arguably, the future) can come together in countless ways. Some people may think that in this age of computers, real musical talent is becoming a rarity, but I have to disagree. Computers have made it so individuals can bring their compositions to life all on their own, able to use any instrument flawlessly thanks to the software available. While I do agree that the art of live performance and actual instrument skill has begun to be overcome by computers and auto-tune, I cant help but feel that many of the songs that Ive come to love, like this one, would never have been created without the modern technology we have.
