https://youtube/watch?v=DXj-bshEMsU Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton, and Ginger Baker were one of the most dangerous trios out there when I heard their recordings when I was 13 and in the 8th grade, incredibly several years ago now... Through those three, I came across the music of Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, and a score of others in the early blues idiom which inevitably led me to my first incarnations of my interests in music history, the blues, ethnomusicology, roots music, live performance, guitar, and so so much more... Creams legacy will go on forever, but I wanna share this heavily underrated record by Robin Trower that features Jack Bruce on vox., bass, gtr, and keys throughout the album, and also drummer Bill Lordan from Sly & The Family Stone... Great stuff! B.L.T! R.I.P Jack Bruce! Thanks for the influence!
