When I was in a coma in 2007, he called my wife every day and was the first to call me when I woke up. He loved my son, James. He died on Seamies birthday. I was in residence at the University of Virginia working on a second masters degree when I got the call. Calling home to tell Seamie was one of the hardest things Ive ever had to do.The tears rolled on both ends of the phone....
