Magical power will be replaced by scientific and technological power. Priests graced by god to represent his will on earth will be replaced by brilliant scientists and engineers who received the inspiration of their innovation through telepathic communication from the aliens. Church, temples and the entire religious infrastructure will be replaced by modern institutions involved in scientific and technological research and development as the newest mode of knowledge expansion, accumulation, transmission, and validation. The only thing that does not change is the role of human in this drama between good and bad. In both the old religion based on a savior-god, and the new religion based on savior-alien, humanity plays the victim whose circumstances seems beyond his control, and depend for his deliverance on the compassion of an external power. Its a comforting thought to think that we dont have to take responsibility for our own problems. But until humanity develop the courage to own up to his mistakes, and take charge of his destiny, there will be no paradise on earth. Ultimately, we are our own savior. Not god, not alien, not Buddha, not anyone else.
