I cannot imagine the thoughts, memories, or actions you faced, or enacted, however I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service, and your willingness to preserve what you feel is right. PTSD is a very serious, and under-represented condition in this country, given the inhumane number of veterans we have produced. Before you judge someone on their dark sense of humor, their disposition, or their words, remember this: youve honestly got no idea what they see, what they feel, and what is experienced every damned day.
