The Rumpot Tenerife on Saturday night was awesome, a great crowd who were just as daft as me bless em :-) I can honestly say that I think everyone in there really enjoyed themselves, they were clapping along, singing along, Lulu was just funny as anything, had a great up all night train, just Kin brilliant!!! And to top it off I got to work with the lovely sparkly Karen Thomas-Mctiffin again :-))) great to see and work you again hun ;-) Thanks to Sharon Janette Blackburn and Sue Long for a great job behind the bar as usual see you all next week :-) then it was onto Bojanglesmusicbar Tenerife for my second show and when we got there it was a bit quieter than usual but then when I went on stage it was like a coach had turned up lol, again a great crowd a fabulous Lulu and the boyband well, what can I say? It was made up of Michael Fay, Ben Lyon Lowe and someone I never thought Id get in the boyband the one and only Leeway and as youll see from the video all three of them really got into the spirit of being in a boyband lol :-D Thanks to Peter, Claire Jones and Calum Jacobs who always join in with the show in one way or another bless ya guys see you all next week :-) Sunday started off with my Swing Sunday show in Tipsy Terrace and a very busy afternoon with a great bunch in who all seemed to enjoy the swing stuff and sang along with a few numbers but when the Elvis stuff came out thats when the dancers came out :-) always surprises me on a Sunday afternoon that folks wanna get up and dance but they do and I think its fab :-) thanks to Sally Louise Adamson, Sarah Elizabeth Colston and the rest of team tipsy for a great afternoon which set the tone for the night-time kicking off in Restaurante Margarita Tenerife with another great crowd inside and out, there was a table right in front of me who were just brilliant!! One of them ended up as my Lulu and really embraced the part and got right into it, there was also a couple who were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary and they asked me to sing a very old Take That song, I found heaven sadly I hadnt got this track as cant find it anywhere so I asked them if they had another favourite to which she replied have you got It only takes a minute well, as you can imagine with it being their anniversary the place erupted into laughter lol how I kept a straight face through the song I have no idea lol but they took it all in good fun and had a great night :-) everything in there last night was very add lib which sometimes makes for a great show and last night was no different Thanks to all the staff and customers for helping make a great show and to Helena Campbell for getting them going in the first place as she always does and to Rock D J Tenerife for a fab duet again as always :-) then it was onto Dreamers Bar and a nice busy bar again and another cracking crowd all up for a laugh, and again it was all very add lib in there too, Lulu was fab The boyband were great and the up all night train too, there was a massive Take That fan in who really made the night and was a lovely girl too :-) Thanks to Steve and the staff for a great night and to Ash Jolly for a great build up cant wait till next week :-) Thats all for now folks (I know youre probably thinking thank god for that lol) Next gigs are Wednesday in the Pearly Grey at 9:45pm and Ye Olde Ocean at 11pm see you there :-)
